Harbour Lights Gallery is based in Porthgain on the Pembrokeshire Coast, not the most central location and so we do offer a delivery service for many paintings, prints and sculpture available in the Gallery. Delivery is either on a next day service (Tuesday to Friday) for smaller paintings, large paintings are personally delivered and are usually delivered within two weeks.

Framing Service:

Framing Service At Harbour Lights we are proud to be able to offer a bespoke framing service. We understand how the perfect frame can make a painting, bring it back to life and also prolong the life and protect the painting for years to come. What we offer: – Bespoke hand made frames with a large range of mouldings to choose from. -Hand painted frames. -Conservation – cleaning, removal and re-application of varnish on oils etc. -Re-mounting, for old discoloured mounts. ( particularly for mounts that have gone yellow on the cut, this suggests acid in the mount which can damage anything on paper.) -Re-glazing with the option of UV protective glass especially important for watercolour’s and anything on paper. Museum non -reflective and UV protective glass also available. -Archival and museum standard framing available for precious pieces. -Quick turn around available .

Family heirloom portrait on paper, rippled and damaged.work carried out -conservation work done to remove the paper from the cardboard backing which was causing the rippling, cleaning of painting and re-pasted onto a archival board.Bespoke frame made using Museum non -reflective and UV protective glass.

Original Sir Kyffin Williams oil painting from 1970Work carried out -Conservation work carried out to remove old layer of varnish, painting cleaned and fresh layer of varnish applied.Due to the damage to the original frame we replaced with a more modern but Kyffin style frame using a linen slip and hand finished frame.

About our Framing service: -All conservation work is carried out by a trained professional and no work carried out without previous discussion and a quotation for the work. – All artwork is fully insured by the Gallery while in our care –Price agreed before work carried out with progress images sent if requested.
